ICAI Conduct CA Foundation and Intermediate Exams in September and January

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has made a significant decision regarding the schedule of CA Foundation and Intermediate exams. Starting from May/June 2024, the exams for Intermediate and Foundation courses will be conducted three times a year, in the months of May/June, September, and January. This change aims to provide students with more flexibility and opportunities to appear for these crucial exams.

CA Eligibility Criteria for September and January Exams

1. Foundation Course: Students must be registered with the Board of Studies of the Institute for a minimum period of four months before the first day of the exam month. Additionally, they must fulfill other eligibility conditions specified in Regulation 25F.
2. Intermediate Course : Students must be registered with the Board of Studies of the Institute and have undergone a study course for a minimum of eight months before the first day of the exam month. Other eligibility conditions specified in Regulation 28G also apply.
