With the launch of the New Scheme of Education for Chartered Accountancy Course in July 2023, a new examination format has been introduced.
Among the innovations, Case-scenario MCQ-based Self-Paced Online Module Examinations (SPOM) Set-C and Set-D have been introduced. Access the Empanelment Form: The first step is to access the empanelment form provided by ICAI. The link to the form is available on the official website of ICAI.
Fill Out the Empanelment Form: The empanelment form requires individuals to provide necessary details such as their name, contact information, professional qualifications, and areas of expertise. It is essential to fill out the form accurately and completely.
Review Terms & Conditions: Before submitting the empanelment form, it is crucial to review the terms and conditions outlined by ICAI. These terms and conditions include guidelines regarding conflicts of interest and the code of conduct expected from contributors.
Submit the Form: Once the empanelment form is filled out and reviewed, it can be submitted electronically through the provided link. After submission, individuals will receive confirmation of their empanelment status from the Examination Department.
Receive Guidelines: Upon successful empanelment, contributors will receive guidelines from the Examination Department regarding the subjects for which they can contribute questions. It is essential to adhere to these guidelines to ensure the quality and relevance of the contributed questions.
Start Contributing: Once the guidelines are received, contributors can start drafting and submitting questions for inclusion in the Question Bank. Questions can range from integrated case scenarios with MCQs to independent MCQs, covering a wide range of topics relevant to the SPOM exams.
