CSEET Exam: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India administers the qualifying entrance exam, "ICSI CSEET," for registration in the " CS Executive Program ." Four times a year, primarily in January, May, July, and November, this test is conducted.

CSEET Exam Details

• The CSEET examination consists of four papers: Current Affairs, Presentation and Communication Skills (30 marks), Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), Economic & Business Environment (50 marks), and Business Communication (50 marks).
• Those who clear the January 2024 CSEET exam will be able to apply for the CS Executive Program.

CSEET Exam Eligibility Criteria

• Someone who has cleared or is appearing in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) is eligible to appear in CSEET.
• To be eligible for registration to the Executive Program, all Graduates and post-graduates who were previously eligible for registration directly to the CS Executive Program must also pass the CSEET.
• Only candidates who are Indian citizens may apply for this test; applicants who are citizens of other countries are not eligible.
• Additionally, candidates who are younger than 17 are not eligible to appear for the exam.

CSEET Exam 2024 Exemptions

• Candidates who pass the CS Foundation Program are exempt from appearing in the CSEET exam and do not need to pay an exemption fee.
• Those who have passed the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Final Examination are not required to appear for the CSEET Exam. They would get an exemption of Rs. 5000 while registering for the CS Executive Exam.

CSEET Exam 2024 Qualifying Marks

• The candidate must receive at least 40% in each paper and 50% overall to qualify for (pass) the CSEET in 2024.
• Enrollment in the CS Executive Programme is possible for those candidates who clear the CSEET 2024 exam. With a duration of nine months, the CS executive program is delivered via correspondence or remote learning. Candidates will have to pay an additional fee to have the option of attending the Institute's classroom teaching facilities, which will only be available in certain locations.
