Stage 1: Integrity and Vigilance Clearance

In the first stage, candidates must pass an integrity and vigilance clearance. This involves a thorough background check to ensure that candidates have a clean record with no involvement in any unethical or illegal activities. This step is crucial to maintain the high standards of integrity expected in the CRPF.

Stage 2: Skill Test/Trade Test

The second stage involves a practical test to assess the candidates' skills relevant to the role of a motor mechanic. This test is designed to evaluate the hands-on abilities of the candidates, ensuring they possess the necessary technical expertise and proficiency required for the job. Candidates will be tested on various aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, reflecting the practical demands of the position.

Stage 3: Document Verification

In the third stage, all documents submitted by the candidates will be verified. This includes:

• Educational certificates
• Experience certificates
• Any other relevant documents

The verification process ensures that all information provided by the candidates is accurate and valid. Candidates must provide original documents for verification, and any discrepancies found could lead to disqualification.

Stage 4: Medical Examination

The final stage of the selection process is a comprehensive medical examination. This is to ensure that candidates are in good health and physically fit to perform the duties of a sub-inspector in the CRPF. The medical examination will assess various health parameters, including vision, hearing, and overall physical fitness. Candidates must meet the medical standards set by the CRPF, categorized under "SHAPE-I" (S: Psychological Health, H: Hearing, A: Appendages, P: Physical Capacity, E: Eyesight).

Stage 5: Final Selection and Joining

Upon completing all the stages of the selection process, candidates will be issued a joining letter. This letter will contain further instructions regarding the joining formalities, training schedules, and other relevant information. Successful candidates will then begin their journey as sub-inspectors in the CRPF, ready to serve with integrity and dedication. This selection process ensures that only the most capable and suitable candidates are chosen for the role of Sub Inspector in the CRPF.

Candidates should have a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle from the National or State Council for Vocational Training or any other recognized institution; or a National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade of three years duration from a recognized institution.
