Indian Coast Guard Kochi announced to conduct of a recruitment for enrolled follower posts (safaiwala/sweeper). The number of posts is 2 only for the male candidates. The male candidates from the Kerala region are eligible to participate in ICG Kochi’s recruitment.

ICG Kochi Application Form 2025

ICG accepts the application form for sweeper/safaiwala posts through the offline mode. ICG Kochi Application Form 2025 is provided in the notification pdf itself. ICG Kochi Eligibility 2025

Candidates should meet the minimum ICG Kochi Eligibility requirements. The minimum educational qualification requirement is matric passed and ITI passed from a recognized institution. ICG Kochi Age Limit is 18 to 25 years. Candidates should have relevant documents to be provided at the time of the document verification process. 

ICG Kochi Selection Process 2025

ICG Kochi Selection Process comprises of multiple selection stages. Candidates want to get into Indian Coast Guard job of enrolled followers. There are multiple selection rounds of Written Tests, Professional Skill Test (PST), Physical Fitness Test (PFI), and Medical Examinations.

• Written Test: The written test covers questions asked from General English and General Knowledge sections of 50 marks combined. 

• Professional Skill Test (PST): Candidates need to perform the tasks of sweeping, mopping, cleaning drains & toilets, and maintenance of septic tanks

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT): The tasks assigned to candidates in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) include 1.6 Km run in 7 minutes, 20 Squats, and 10 Push-ups. 

• Medical Examination: Candidates who successfully qualified Written Test, PST, and PFT rounds then, go for medical examination. The medical tests are organized as per the ICG standards. There

ICG Kochi Exam Pattern 2025

A written test is conducted that covers questions from General Knowledge and General English sections. Candidates get an overall 1 hour time to face the questions asked from these two sections. The total marks allotted is 50 marks i.e. 25 marks each for General English and General Knowledge sections.
