AIEED UG Eligibility 2025 – Age, Qualification & Requirements

Students must meet the following AIEED eligibility criteria before applying. 

• Educational Qualification: Students must have completed their 12th class from any recognized board, such as CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Boards, or NIOS. 
• Class 11 Students: Students of Class 11 (10+1) are also eligible to take the AIEED 2025. If shortlisted, they will be eligible for direct admission after clearing the PoA and Interaction stages.
• Age Limit: Students must be at least 16 years of age. 
• Verification: Document validation entails confirmation of all the prerequisites’ eligibility criteria at counseling for the defined stages of counseling and seat assignment.

AIEED 2025 Application Process – Step-by-Step Guide

The application process for AIEED 2025 ended on 7 August 2025 for the final phase of the entrance exam. Here’s how you can apply for AIEED in the future: 

• Go to AIEED's official portal.
• Enter your name, email ID, and date of birth. Set a password, also. 
• An email will be sent to you containing your registration number and password.
• Log in to the portal using your credentials. Complete the profile with your educational background and relevant contact details. Select the course and campus you wish to study in.
• Upload all necessary documents such as photograph, signature, and documents.
• Pay the application fee of Rs 3000 using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. The fee was non-refundable.
• Submit the application form. 

AIEED Exam Pattern 2025 – Test Structure, Phases & Duration

AIEED exam pattern consists of two main written sections, namely, General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT), followed by a Video, Portfolio, and Personal Interaction round. The exam will have 100 to 110 questions to be answered within 2 to 3 hours. AIEED 2025 will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The written sections are available in English and Hindi (though online responses must be in English).

The AIEED admit card 2025 was released on the official website 2-3 days before the exam. Students can download it using their login credentials. It must be carried to the exam centre along with a government-approved ID. Important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, test center, and reporting time are mentioned on it.

AIEED result 2025 was released within a week after the conclusion of the exam. Students can check their results online by logging into the official portal using their registered email ID and password. AIEED Selection Process 2025 – Stage-Wise Evaluation Explained

The selection process was a multi-stage evaluation designed to assess not just a candidate’s design skills but also their creativity, openness, analytical thinking, and adaptability. 

• Stage 1: Students must complete Psychological Endowments for Design (PED), CATA tasks, and submit their Statement of Purpose (SoP) and Portfolio of Abilities (PoA). 
• Stage 2: Shortlisted students participate in a counseling session or interaction round with experienced counselors and faculty. This was often conducted online via Skype. 
• Stage 3: The final stage involves result declaration based on a merit list, considering performance in all previous rounds, portfolio, interview, and academic record.
