CEED Result 2025 has been declared today, i.e., 5th March 2025 by IIT Bombay on its official website at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Using their registered email ID and password, candidates can download the CEED result 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the CEED entrance exam, scheduled on 19th January 2025, can download the CEED scorecards from the official website. 

The CEED result 2025 includes Part A marks of all candidates, however, Part B marks will be released for those candidates who have qualified Part A and met cutoffs.

How are CEED Results Prepared?

The CEED 2025 results are prepared by giving weightage to Part A and Part B of the exam. Part A is a computer-based test that includes multiple-choice questions, numerical answer-type questions, and multiple select questions. Part B consists of subjective questions that are evaluated holistically based on the criteria given in the question paper. The final merit list is prepared by giving 25% weightage to Part A and 75% weightage to Part B.

CEED Merit Ranks 2025

The merit list comprises a final drawing list and a waiting list. Candidates on the final drawing list are allocated seats through CEED counseling, while the remaining seats are filled by candidates from the waiting list. In the CEED 2025 exam, merit ranks are allotted to candidates in different categories. These ranks are mentioned in the CEED 2025 scorecard. Here are the different types of CEED merit ranks. 

• Open Rank: Awarded to candidates whose total CEED score and Part-A marks are equal to or exceed the minimum qualifying marks.

• EWS Rank: Given to General category candidates who belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). These candidates also receive Open ranks, as there is no separate cutoff for EWS. 

• SC/ST/OBC-NCL Rank: This rank is designated for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. To retain this rank, candidates must provide original certificates issued by the relevant authority during document verification. Failure to do so results in consideration under the Open category.

• Open PwD Rank: Valid for General category candidates with physical disabilities, this rank requires the presentation of relevant documents at the time of verification.

• SC/ST/OBC-NCL PwD Rank: This rank applies to SC/ST/OBC category candidates with physical disabilities and similarly requires relevant documentation for verification. Without proper documentation, candidates will be considered for admission based on their SC/ST/OBC rank or Open rank, as applicable.

CEED Scorecard 2025

The CEED 2025 scorecard is an important document for candidates who appeared for the exam, as it contains the marks obtained. It has been released today, along with the CEED result on the official website. The scorecard is a mark sheet consisting of the marks scored by candidates in the CEED 2025 exam. It is a mandatory document for candidates seeking admission to Master of Design (M.Des) and Ph.D. programs 

CEED Exam Statistics 2025

The CEED 2025 exam statistics provide valuable insights into the examination's scale and candidate performance. The exam was conducted on January 19, 2025, across 27 cities in India, with approximately 6,037 candidates registered. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate, with Part A being easier compared to Part B, which posed more challenges for candidates. Out of those who appeared, around 1,886 candidates are expected to qualify based on their scores, reflecting a competitive selection process for admission into various design programs.
