Candidates must satisfy basic age limits and educational qualification conditions before registering.
General Age Limit: General category applicants must be born on or after July 01, 2006.
Reserved Age Relaxation: OBC-NCL, SC, and ST candidates must be born on or after July 01, 2003. PwD applicants must be born on or after July 01, 2001.
Education Qualification: Students who passed Class 12 or will appear for higher secondary exams in 2026–27 from any recognised board (Arts, Science, Commerce) are eligible.

Step 1: Visit Official Portal: Go to admissions.nid.edu.
Step 2: Sign Up: Click on registration to create an account. Provide nationality, category, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 3: Log In: Access your personal profile using the credentials received via email.
Step 4: Fill Application Form: Enter personal details, address, and guardian information.
Step 5: Add Educational Details: Fill in Class 10 and Class 12 academic information.
Step 6: Select Test Centre: Choose preferred test cities for DAT Prelims.
