NID Haryana: National Institute of Design (NID), Kurukshetra, also referred to as NID Haryana, was established in 2016 under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. NID Haryana Admission Process
Admission to B.Des program at NID Haryana is entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to NID Kurukshetra have to clear the NID DAT entrance exam with merit scores. The exam has two stages namely, Prelims and Mains. Eligible candidates will have to first appear for NID DAT Prelims, and based on their merit, the candidates will be shortlisted for DAT Mains. The final selection is done by calculating the weighted scores obtained by the candidates in the NID DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. The qualified candidates will then have to appear for the NID DAT counseling process. The seats will be allocated based on the merit list, candidate's category, and availability of seats under the particular course.
