New Institutes have been added to the list of UCEED result-sharing institutes for the B.Des program. Aspirants seeking admission to B.Des courses through UCEED 2025 entrance exam, have a fantastic opportunity since this year they have more options to pursue their creative and academic goals.
BITS Design School, CEPT University, and Flame University, among others are some new additions to the list of new institutes added in the admission process. IIT Indore has also become part of the list of the participating institutes, thus providing more options for pursuing a career in design. With more institutes participating, aspirants can access a wider range of specializations and learning environments, enhancing their chances of securing a place in top-tier design colleges.

Joint Seat Allocation Process for UCEED 2025
IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 counselling for the participating institutes in online mode as a Joint Seat Allotment Process. Candidates who have qualified UCEED 2025 and have obtained merit scores in the exam are shortlisted for the counselling process.
The UCEED 2025 seat allotment process will be conducted in three rounds. For GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates, the seat acceptance fee is INR 60,000, while for the SC/ST/PwD candidates, the acceptance fee is INR 15,000. Based on the following factors, the seat allotment will be done.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission Through UCEED 2025
IIT Bombay has outlined the eligibility criteria for admission through UCEED 2025 in its official notification. It includes certain academic qualifications and age limits, which candidates must meet to be eligible for the exam and subsequent admission. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the UCEED 2025 exam. The eligibility criteria include the following parameters.
Age Limit: Candidates belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories must be born on or after 1st October 2000. Reserved category including SC, ST or PwD, candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1995.
UCEED 2025 Qualification: Candidates seeking admission to design colleges through UCEED 2025 must have qualified the entrance exam and secured a merit rank.
Qualifying Examination: Candidates appearing for the UCEED 2025 must have passed all 5 subjects in their class 12th or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025. Candidates who have appeared in their qualifying examination for the first time in 2023 or earlier are not allowed to sit for the UCEED 2025 entrance exam.
