The SOF International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) 2026-27 is an annual exam conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for students of Classes 1 to 10.

The SOF IGKO exam is conducted on three different dates. Schools can select one of the available dates for their students.

Students should confirm the exam date selected by their school before the examination.
Students of Classes 1 to 10 can participate in the SOF IGKO Olympiad if they are enrolled in a school recognised by SOF. Students can appear only for the Olympiad meant for their respective class. There are no other eligibility requirements mentioned by SOF.
The SOF IGKO registration is completed through schools. Students cannot apply individually for the exam. Schools submit the applications on behalf of their students.
Students should submit the required registration details to their school authorities at least 30 days before the selected exam date. The registration fee for IGKO is Rs. 170.
The SOF IGKO exam is conducted offline and has a duration of one hour. The examination includes objective-type questions based on different areas of general knowledge and awareness.
