General features of skin “the biggest organ of our body” and fascia sheath of connective tissue which keeps everything together.

Structure of skin is just 3 layers of different composition Epidermis is the outermost waterproof protective barrier and responsible for skin tone. The second layer dermis found beneath the epidermis contains connective tissue hair follicles, blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and sweat glands. The deepest and third layer which is responsible for the appearance of fat under the skin is hypodermis as its composition is fat and connective tissue. Fascia a band of tissue supporting and wrapping everything Scientists initially thought fascia only provided support to organs muscles and bones but the now the definition has expanded to include the tissue that surrounds all the cells nerves joints ligaments throughout the body Fascia basically has two layers and is classified based on its location
