According to the latest information, the exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode on 17 May 2025 for the INI CET 2025 July session. Candidates will have to attempt the exam at a designated digital center where they will get separate login IDs. The INI CET exam pattern is explained below:

General Structure of INI CET Exam Pattern

Understanding the format and time management of the INI CET exam is essential for effective preparation and success.
  • Question Paper Structure : The question paper will be divided into four parts, with each part containing 50 questions. The total number of questions will be 200, and the entire exam will last for 180 minutes.
  • Time Allocation : Each part will have a duration of 45 minutes. After the time for a part expires, candidates will automatically transition to the next part.
  • Sequential Access : Candidates will access each part in a sequential order. Once the 45 minutes for a part are up, access to that part will be disabled, and the next part will become available.
  • Automatic Submission : Each part will be automatically submitted once the allotted 45 minutes are over. After all four parts are completed, the exam will be submitted automatically after a total of 180 minutes.
  • Active Part Only : Candidates will only be able to view and answer questions in the currently active part. They cannot access questions in the other parts until it is their turn.
  • Focus on Active Questions : It’s crucial for candidates to attempt all possible questions in the active part during the 45-minute time frame. This includes reviewing any skipped questions or those marked for review.

Question Types for INI CET Exam Pattern

INI CET 2025 question paper will consist of objective-type questions, maintaining the format from previous years. Some questions will feature a single correct answer, where only one option among a, b, c, or d is correct. Additionally, there will be questions that may have more than one correct response, categorized as multiple correct answer questions. In these cases, the options will be structured like this:
  • Option 1: If a, b, and c are correct
  • Option 2: If a and c are correct, etc.
For these multiple correct answer questions, candidates must select only one of the provided options.
