INBO 2025 Overview
INBO empowers ambitious children to realize their dreams and gives them a chance to represent their country in the International Biology Olympiad (IBO). It is mandatory for students who have qualified for INBO 2025 to choose their INBO examination centers and complete the registration before the last date i.e. 18th January 2025. For those who don’t complete the registration before the deadline, otherwise they will be disqualified from INBO 2025.Those candidates who have successfully qualified the merit list of Stage II (INBO) are eligible for OCSC.

INBO 2025 Registration
The online registration process for the INBO 2025 by the HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education) has been started. Applicants must be submitted before the deadline for the INBO Online Registration 2025 i.e. 18th January 2025. Before we talk about INBO, let's know who will participate in this exciting INBO competition. The INBO Eligibility Criteria are as follows:- The candidate must pass the National Standard Examination For Biology, Stage 1 of the Biology Olympiad Program (NSEB).
- Additionally, any student who is an overseas citizen of India (OCI) would not be selected for the Biology Olympiad Program.
- They must be Indian nationals and must be pursuing their studies in India.
- Those students who are in their 12th grade are eligible for INBO. In addition, Class 10 and Class 11 students can apply if they've passed the NSEB exam.
- If they apply for the National Standard Examination In Junior Science (NSEJS) in the same year, they will not be deemed eligible.

INBO 2025 Exam Date
On the official portal of HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education) https://secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in/ino/ the INBO Exam Date 2025 has been announced. For the students who qualify the NSEB Exam 2025 have to appear for the INBO 2025 which is going to be organized on 02 February 2025 (1:30 pm to 3:30 pm). Your centre will be considered as a test centre for INBO 2025, based on the completion of centre verification as well as decision of the committee. A few days before the INBO 2025 exam date the INBO Admit Card 2025 will be issued to the eligible students.INBO 2025 Exam Pattern
- INBO Exam Pattern: INBO is conducted in two parts: theory test and practical test.
- Concept test: The concept test consists of multiple choice questions (MCQ) and mental questions. Participants are tested on a variety of biological topics, including, but not limited to, cell biology, genetics, ecology, and agriculture.
- Practical Exam: The practical test assesses students' knowledge and practical skills in biology. Participants are tasked with experimenting, analyzing data and drawing conclusions based on their findings.
- Duration: The duration of the theory and practical test will be intimated to the participants before the date of the test.
- Syllabus: INBO curriculum is based on the syllabus prescribed for class 11 and 12 by the official education boards in India like CBSE, ICSE and state boards.
- Score: Each question carries multiple marks and wrong answers may carry negative marks. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before attempting the questions.

INBO 2025 Result
After the successful completion of the Examination, the INBO 2025 Result will be released through the login window of HBCSE at https://secure.hbcse.tifr.res.in. Candidates who achieve a minimum INBO score are invited to attend the Orientation Cum Selection Camp (OCSC). Students have to enter roll numbers and date of birth to access the INBO results.
