  • In India, Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha initiated the nuclear program. In 1945, he established the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) to conduct nuclear scientific research.
  • Dr. Bhabha established AEET (Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay) in January 1954 to strengthen nuclear facilities and utilise nuclear energy for the benefit of the country.

BARC Eligibility Criteria

The DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS) was developed in partnership with eight IITs, including Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, BHU-Varanasi, NIT-Rourkela, and ICT-Mumbai, to entice young professionals who would like to begin their careers only after obtaining an advanced degree. Dr. K.S. Krishnan Research Associateship (KSKRA) Program

The prestigious Dr. K.S.
