CIL MT Selection Process 2025
The selection of candidates will be done based on their performance in the Computer Based Test followed by Document Verification.
- Computer-Based Test - The CBT test will consist of Paper I and Paper II carrying 100 marks each. Paper-I will consist of General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General English and Paper-II will consist of Professional Knowledge (Discipline related) with a duration of 3 hours. Each correct answer will award one mark and there will be no penalty for wrong answer.
- Document Verification - Those who perform well in the written examination will undergo document verification and medical examination prior to the appointment.
CIL MT Salary 2025
Candidates appointed for the post of Management Trainee in Coal India Limited will be paid a competitive compensation in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000/- at E-2 Grade. On successful completion of one year of training, the appointment of candidates will be regularized at E-3 Grade in the scale of pay of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000/- at the initial Basic Pay of Rs. 60,000/- with probation for 1 year, if not extended.
