Candidates from India are eligible to apply for GATE EE 2027. Candidates who have obtained or are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India can also apply, provided they satisfy the prescribed academic requirements.
For candidates with qualifying degrees from countries other than India:
They should be currently studying in the third year or higher of their Bachelor's degree, or
They should have completed a Bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities.
The official GATE 2027 eligibility criteria do not prescribe any minimum or maximum age limit for the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper.
