GATE Exam Timetable 2025

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has officially announced the GATE Exam Timetable 2025 at GOAPS Portal, goaps.iitr.ac.in. The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on 1st, 2nd, 15th and 16th February 2025. The exam will be conducted in multiple sessions in the forenoon and afternoon shifts.

Candidates must mark the calendar for their GATE Paper to attend the examination on a specific date. A total of 30 papers will be conducted for GATE 2025. Candidates can find a detailed exam timetable for all the papers in the table below:

GATE 2025 Pre-Examination Activities

Exam Day Instructions for GATE 2025

Candidates need to follow certain instructions set by the conducting body to attend the examination without any inconvenience. The essential exam-day instructions for GATE 2025 are outlined below:

  • Reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes prior to the reporting time to avoid unforeseen delays.
  • Ensure you have kept the original admit card, ID proof, photograph and other documents.
  • Check the seating arrangement sheet on the test centre and contact the invigilator in case of confusion.
  • Enter the examination hall on time and ensure your allotted computer is in good working condition.
  • Read the instructions mentioned on the screen as candidates are allowed to log in 20 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
  • Collect your scribbling pads from the examination authorities for rough work. Enter your name and registration number on the scribble pad before they start using it.
  • Carry your own pen, pencil, transparent water bottle, mask, and pocket-sized hand sanitizer to ensure health safety.
  • Don't carry Electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones, calculators) and other materials that are not explicitly allowed by the exam authorities.
