The Ministry Of Indian Railways published a Gazette to make amendments to the Indian Railway Management Services Examination e (Group ‘A’) Rules, 2022. • Full-time BE/B. Tech degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
• Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or
• Completed degree or diploma in Engineering from a foreign college or university that is acceptable in India; or
• Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
• Passed the Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers London held after November, 1959.

The minimum age of applicants should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be above 30 years. Candidates should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st January, 2004.

The selection procedure for IRMS Recruitment through UPSC ESE 2025 includes the following stages mentioned below:

IRMS through UPSC ESE 2025 Salary

Candidates appointed for Grade A and B posts under Indian Railways Management Services will be paid a competitive salary as per Level 10 in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission. Selected candidates will earn a monthly pay scale ranging from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500/-. Alongside the basic pay, the Officers will earn a range of additional perks and allowances as per the government rules.
