In case of an error in the state code of eligibility during JoSAA 2025 counselling, the following procedures and outcomes will be applied for candidates under the NIT+ system:
(A) The JoSAA 2025 system will be revised to correct any errors in the state code of eligibility.
(B) The decision regarding retention or cancellation of the allocated seat will follow this rule-based matrix:
(C) If a seat is cancelled due to such a discrepancy, the candidate will still be considered for seat allocation in the subsequent round(s), subject to eligibility and fulfillment of other conditions.
