For 2025, the total seats have been increased: IITs now provide 18,160 seats, NITs have 24,525 seats, and IIITs provide 9,940 seats. To be eligible for admission at any of these institutions, candidates need to undergo the JoSAA 2025 counselling process.
The registration process for JoSAA counselling 2025 is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2025, through the official website. The entire counselling will be carried out online. Admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs is granted based on JEE Main ranks, while IIT admissions require qualifying the JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced 2025 result was announced on June 2, 2025.
