Does VJTI Accept JEE Main Score?, Selection Process, Cutoff, Eligibility

The JEE Main 2026 January result is out, and students can use their JEE Main score to apply for admission to VJTI in Mumbai. Admission is possible with a non-zero JEE Main score if candidates meet the required cut-off and eligibility criteria, including 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics (minimum 45% for General and 40% for Reserved categories).

The JEE Main 2026 January session result is now out, and many students want to know if they can get admission to VJTI using their JEE Main score. Located in Mumbai, VJTI (Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute) was established in 1887 and is known for its good education, strong alumni network, and quality engineering programs. Does VJTI Accept JEE Main Score?

Yes, candidates can get admission to VJIT Mumbai based on their JEE Main Score. However, candidates must score equal to or more than the cut off marks set by the university to get admission to their preferred branch and course. Along with the cut off marks, candidates must satisfy certain important eligibility criteria for admission to undergraduate engineering courses at VJTI.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics for general candidates in their Higher secondary school. Also, Reserved category candidates only need to score a 40% aggregate.
  • A non-positive JEE Score is required to be eligible for counselling at VJTI Mumbai.
However, admission to VJTI is also carried out through the MHCET exam. However, non-zero marks in JEE Main are more preferred than the score of the MHCET exam.

B.E/B.Tech Rs. 3.3 Lakhs It is mandatory to pass the 10+2 examination or equivalent with a minimum 45% grade (40% for candidates in the reserved category or people with disabilities from Maharashtra alone) in Science.
M.C.A. Rs. 1.7 Lakhs A minimum GPA of 50% in a bachelor’s degree (45% for reserved categories and disabled applicants from Maharashtra State alone).
M.E/M.Tech Rs. 1.8 Lakhs Obtain a degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 50% (45% for candidates in the Reserved Category and people with Disabilities from Maharashtra State only).
P.G.D. NA Postgraduate degree in the relevant subjects from any recognized university.
Ph.D NA Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with qualifying marks in relevant discipline of Engineering / Technology/Science/Computer Applications from a recognized university.
