JEE Advanced Dress Code 2025 For Male and Female Candidates

JEE Advanced Dress Code 2025 : JEE Advanced 2025 is on May 18. It is compulsory for all the candidates to follow the dress code in letter and spirit to be permitted entry to the jee advanced exam centre. Disqualification from sitting for the exam could be the result if the candidates fail to obey the dress code regulations. Every candidate should take cognizance of and obey these instructions.

JEE Advanced Dress Code 2025 for Male and Female

As per the NTA JEE Advanced brochure, male and female candidates are recommended to avoid clothing with large buttons and to wear open footwear, such as chappals or sandals, to ensure hassle-free security checks.

• Applicants must dress in plain light clothing without prominent buttons or metal decorations.

• It is better to wear open shoes such as chappals or sandals rather than shoes.

• Do not wear any religious or charm-related objects such as taweez.

• The clothes should be comfortable and not suspicious during frisking.

JEE Advanced Dress Code 2025  - List of Prohibited Items

Candidates are not permitted to bring the following items into the exam centre.

• Electronic devices: mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, cameras, and scanners.

• Stationery other than pen/pencil: scales, erasers, geometry boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, or electronic pens.

• Personal items: wallets, handbags, goggles, charm/taweez, jewellery,

• Unauthorized writings: Any printed, blank, or handwritten paper, log tables, writing pads.

• Metal accessories: rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches.

• Footwear like shoes that may need removal during checks.

JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Day Instructions

Items to Carry to the Exam Centre: Candidates should bring the following essential items with them to the exam centre.

• Bring only the necessary things: pen, pencil, admit card, original photo ID, and clear water bottle.

• Report to the exam center much earlier than the reporting time to finish frisking and entry procedures well in advance.

• Cooperate with the authorities at security check.

• Adhere to all COVID-19 or health protocols if available.
