Question 1. Who is eligible for CLAT 2025? Answer . To be eligible for the CLAT 2025 exams candidates must have 45%  in Class 12th or equivalent for Gen/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI and For SC/ST Categories it is  - 40%.

Question 2. Can I take CLAT at age 40?

Answer. Yes, you can. There is no age limit defined for the CLAT 2025 entrance exam.

Question 3. Are NRI candidates eligible for the CLAT 2025 exam?

Answer. Yes, NRI candidates are eligible for the CLAT 2025 exam. They can mention their category as NRI under the category option to avail of benefits.

Question 4. Will I be able to take admission in the NLUs if I qualify for the CLAT 2025 exam?

Answer. The exam will consist of 120 questions from five subjects namely, English Language, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The questions will test candidates on their analytical, critical, and reading skills.

Answer. The steps to log in to the CLAT Exam are as follows.

  • Go to the official website of the Consortium of Universities (NLUs), i.e., consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  • To create a candidate login, click the official link.
  • For new registration click on the "Register" button.
  • Fill in your details like name, active mobile number, and email address. Create a strong password.
  • After creating the password, click on the "register" button.
  • An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Using that OTP candidates can activate their accounts.
  • After activation of the account, CLAT Candidate Login 2025 will be created.
Question 2. What is the tentative date for the CLAT 2025 Exam? Answer. The tentative date for the CLAT 2025 Exam is December 1, 2024 (Sunday, 2 pm - 4 pm).

Answer. You can only shift to another NLU only if you apply for a vacancy. But there's no such lateral transfer scheme from one NLU to another.

Answer. There is a window for the counseling fee refund. Candidates have to apply for a refund before the admission process closes. Candidates who have withdrawn their seats up to the last scheduled date will get their refund. The refund will be directed towards candidates' accounts after a deduction of INR 10,000 from the counseling fee.
