MH CET Law 2025: Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has officially released the MH CET 5-year LLB final merit list for Round 1 on July 30, 2025, after 05:00 PM. Candidates can now check the merit list on the official website  llb5cap25.mahacet.org.

Previously, the alphabetical list for 5-year LLB candidates was published on July 24, 2025, featuring names and contact details of all applicants who successfully registered for the MH CET Law CAP Round. This list was arranged alphabetically for verification purposes.

From July 25 to July 27, 2025, candidates were allowed to log in through the candidate portal to raise grievances, make corrections to their application forms, and upload necessary documents. After evaluating the grievances, the CET Cell has now issued the final merit list, which will be used for the upcoming seat allotment rounds under the MH CET 5-year LLB admission process.

What is MH CET Law 2025?

The Common entrance Test Cell in Maharashtra administers the state-level law entrance test known as MH CET Law. Candidates will be accepted to participating Maharashtra institutions' 3-year and 5-year LLB programs through the MH CET Law. MH CET Law provides courses online for both programs separately. The three-year LLB and five-year LLB MH CET Law 2025 syllabuses are the same, with the exception that the five-year LLB syllabus includes an extra mathematical subject.

MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Notification

MH CET Law 2025 notification has been officially released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, detailing all important dates and procedures for both 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes. The 5-year LLB entrance exam was successfully conducted on April 28, 2025, while the 3-year LLB exam took place on May 2 and 3, 2025.

As per the latest update, the final merit list for Round 1 of the MH CET 5-year LLB admission will be released on July 30, 2025, after 05:00 PM on the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org.

MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Exam Pattern

MH CET Law 2025 exam pattern for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB programs ensures a fair assessment of candidates' legal aptitude and reasoning skills. The exam will be conducted online, lasting for 2 hours, and will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 120 marks, with each correct answer earning one mark and no negative marking for incorrect answers. The subjects covered include Legal Aptitude & Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, and English Language. The 5-year LLB program will also include a section on Mathematical Aptitude, making it essential for candidates to prepare accordingly.

MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Exam Syllabus

The MH CET Law 2025 syllabus outlines the key subjects and topics that candidates need to prepare for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. For the 5-year LLB, the syllabus includes five sections: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, English Language, and Basic Mathematics. In contrast, the 3-year LLB syllabus consists of four sections: Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and English Language. MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Admit Card

The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra released the MH CET Law Admit Card 2025 for 5-year LLB programs on 21st April 2025 and for 3-year LLB program on 28th April 2025. The admit card was available for download on their official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates must download their hall tickets by logging in with their registration credentials and carry the printed admit card to their respective exam centers. The admit card will contain essential information like the candidate's name, roll number, exam center details, and instructions for the exam day.

MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Answer Key

The MH CET Law 2025 answer key for both the 3-year and 5-year LLB programs has been released online by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The provisional answer key for the 5-year LLB was released on May 10, 2025. The objection window was opened from 1 to 13 May 2025. The final answer key was out on May 23, 2025.

For the 3-year LLB, the provisional answer key was released on May 27, 2025. Candidates could submit their objections from 28 to 30 May 2025. The final answer key was published on June 13, 2025. These answer keys allow candidates to check their responses, estimate their scores, and raise objections if needed before the results are declared.

MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Result

The result for the 3-year LLB course was released on 20 June 2025 after a brief delay. The 5-year LLB results were out by 4 June 2025. Candidates can access their results through the official website by logging in with their credentials. Both results are published online as scorecards on the official CET Cell Maharashtra website. The MH CET result 2025 will include details such as marks obtained, overall rank, and qualification status. Following the announcement of results, the counseling process will commence for eligible candidates to secure admission in various participating law colleges.

MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Cutoff

The MH CET Law 2025 cutoff marks will be crucial for candidates seeking admission to the 3-year and 5-year LLB programs in Maharashtra. The cutoff represents the minimum score required to secure a place in various participating law colleges, and it is influenced by factors such as the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and available seats. MH CET Law 2025, 3 & 5-year LLB Counselling

MH CET Law 2025 counselling for both 3-year and 5-year LLB programs has commenced. Online registration is open from June 26, 2025 (for 5-year LLB) and June 30, 2025 (for 3-year LLB) until July 10, 2025. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is conducted entirely online. It requires candidates to register, upload documents for e-verification, and fill in their preferred colleges. 

After document verification, merit lists will be published, followed by multiple rounds of seat allotment based on merit and preferences. The detailed counselling schedule and further CAP rounds will be announced by the CET Cell Maharashtra in due course.
