MH CET Law 2025 CAP Round Details
After the first round of CAP counselling, the authorities will publish the list of vacant seats. The process will take place as follows.
Freeze Option: If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round, they can select the 'Freeze' option to confirm their admission. By doing so, they accept the seat, pay the admission fee, and exit from further rounds of counselling. They will not be considered for any subsequent upgrades or seat allotments.
Float Option: If a candidate wishes to keep their current allotment but also wants to be considered for a better seat in the second round, they can choose the 'Float' option. This keeps their current seat secured while allowing participation in further rounds. If a higher preference is allotted later, the previous seat is forfeited. If not, the current seat remains with the candidate.
Candidates participating in the 2nd round for upgrading their seats (as allotted and accepted in CAP I) won't be able to participate in the next round.
Candidates filling fresh option form as well as editing their options will be allotted seats in 3rs round of CAP.
Exit Option: Candidates who do not wish to continue with the counselling process can opt for the 'Exit' option. This means they forfeit their currently allotted seat and withdraw completely from the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds.
MH CET Law 2025 Counselling Fee
The fee must be paid online as part of the counselling and seat allotment process. It is mandatory for candidates participating in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates need to pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹1,000 to confirm their admission.
