MH CET Law Merit List 2025: Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the MH CET 5-year LLB final merit list for Round 1 on July 30, 2025, after 05:00 PM. The merit list will be available on the official website mahacet.org. MH CET Law Merit List 2025 is released separately for 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. It is prepared institute-wise based on the marks scored by candidates in the MH CET Law entrance examination.

The MH CET 3-year & 5-year LLB merit lists are essential in determining admissions during the MH CET Law CAP rounds. Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the MH CET 5-year LLB final merit list for Round 1 on July 30, 2025, after 05:00 PM. This final merit list plays a key role in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for admission to the 5-year LLB program across Maharashtra colleges. MH CET Law Merit List 2025 Tie Breaking Rule

The State CET Cell will implement a tie breaking rule to decide merit ranks in case two or more candidates have the same normalized CET marks. The following factors will be kept into consideration while deciding the ranks in this scenario. 

MH CET Law Merit List 2025 Tie Breaking Rule for 3-year LLB

  • The candidate with higher marks in their graduation (qualifying degree) will be assigned a higher rank.
  • If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in their higher secondary (10+2) examination will be ranked higher.

MH CET Law Merit List 2025 Tie Breaking Rule for 5-year LLB

  • Preference is given to the candidate with a greater percentage of marks in their Class 12 or equivalent examination.
  • If the tie persists, candidates with higher marks in the first language paper (for Marathi Board students) are ranked higher.
  • For CBSE/ICSE students, marks in the best five subjects of Class 12 are considered if needed. 
  • If the tie still remains, additional academic factors such as marks in Class 10 or other relevant criteria may be used. 

MH CET 3-year & 5-year LLB Counselling 2025

The MH CET 3-year & 5-year LLB Counselling 2025 has officially begun. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is being held entirely online, making it more accessible and transparent for candidates. Registration for the 5-year LLB program started on June 26, 2025, while the 3-year LLB registration opened on June 30, 2025. The last date for registration is July 10, 2025. Applicants must upload their documents for e-verification, fill in their preferred colleges, and pay the counselling fee to participate in the seat allotment rounds.
