MH CET Law Reservation Policy 2025: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will shortly notify about the MH CET Law Reservation Policy 2025 in its admission brochure. The information brochure outlines the reservation criteria for various categories such as general, minority groups, state candidates, SC and ST according to the reservation in the MH CET Law 2025. Candidates belonging to reserved categories from other states are also included in the MH CET law 2025 reservation list. MH CET seat allotment 2025 will be done based on the reservation policy.

Who is Eligible for MH CET Law Reservation 2025?

Candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and belong to specific reserved categories such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), etc, are eligible for MH CET Law Reservation 2025. Additional reservations are available for women, persons with disabilities, EWS, orphans, and children of service personnel, provided they meet domicile and category-specific requirements. Candidates from outside Maharashtra are not eligible for these reserved seats and are considered under the open (All India) category.

The MH CET Law Reservation Criteria 2025 for Children of Defence Personnel provides 5% reservation within the Maharashtra State (MS) quota in both government and aided law colleges for 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. This reservation applies to:

  • Children of ex-service personnel domiciled in Maharashtra (DEF-1). 
  • Children of active service personnel domiciled in Maharashtra (DEF-2). 
  • Children of active service personnel who have been transferred to Maharashtra but are not domiciled in the state (DEF-3). 
  • Children whose families are stationed in Maharashtra under the family housing retention policy, provided the applicant has completed SSC (10th) and HSC (12th) from a Maharashtra school or college.
