CET Cell Maharashtra has started registration for MH CET LLB CAP Round 2025. Candidates can register until 10 July 2025 for both 3 and 5-year LLB. Subsequent CAP rounds will be updated soon.

MH CET LLB CAP Round 2025

MH CET LLB CAP Round 2025 (Centralized Admission Process) for 3-year and 5-year LLB 2025 has officially begun. The counselling registration is open from 26 June 2025 for the 5-year LLB and 30 June 2025 for the 3-year LLB program. The last date to register and upload documents for both programs is 10 July 2025. Candidates with a valid score in the MH CET Law entrance exam 2025 are eligible to register for the CAP rounds. The complete counselling CAP schedule will be updated soon. 

MH CET LLB CAP 2025 involves subsequent steps such as choice filling, publication of provisional and final merit lists, and multiple rounds of seat allotment based on merit and preferences. Earlier, the MH CET law result 2025 for 3-year LLB was declared on 20 June 2025 and for 5-year LLB on 4 June 2025.

The registration dates for the MH CET LLB CAP Round 2025 for both 3-year and 5-year programs have been announced. Counselling registration for the 5-year LLB is open from June 26 to July 10, 2025, and for the 3-year LLB from June 30 to July 10, 2025. Candidates must complete online registration, upload required documents, and participate in the e-scrutiny process, which continues until July 15, 2025 for document uploads. The provisional alphabetical list, merit list, and college option filling dates will be notified soon by the CET Cell.

What is MH CET Law CAP Round?

The MH CET Law CAP Round is the Centralised Admission Process conducted by the CET Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs in participating law colleges across the state. The CAP rounds are conducted entirely online. There will be 3 rounds of CAP. Candidates must register on the official portal, upload required academic and category documents for e-verification, and fill in their preferred college choices. 

Based on the final merit list and preferences, seat allotment is carried out in three rounds. The  cut-offs will be published for each round. The process ensures merit-based allocation of the approximately 16,240 seats for 3-year LLB and 10,860 seats for 5-year LLB programs in Maharashtra. 

How to Register for MH CET LLB CAP Round 2025?

Candidates can follow the given steps to register for MH CET LLB CAP Rounds 2025. For both 3-year and 5-year LLB programs, the same steps will be applicable. 

  • Eligible candidates with a non-zero score in MH CET Law 2025 can register for CAP rounds on the official portal. The registration fee is Rs 200 for candidates changing their category from reserved to open category. 
  • For document verification. Candidates have to upload the mandatory documents for e-verification by the authorities. 
  • Once the authorities scrutinize all the documents and appropriateness of the registration, they will publish the list of candidates in alphabetical order. 
  • In case of any discrepancy in the alphabetical list, candidates are allowed to raise their objections within the given window. 
  • After solving all objections, the authorities will release the MH CET Law merit list. 
  • Next, candidates are required to fill their college preference. 
  • Finally, seats are allotted based on the candidates’ ranks, preference list, and categories. 

Who is Eligible for MH CET LLB CAP Rounds 2025?

Candidates eligible for MH CET LLB CAP Rounds 2025 must have a non-zero score in the MH CET Law 2025 entrance exam and meet the specific eligibility criteria for their chosen program, either 3-year or 5-year LLB. Candidates must ensure they fulfill all educational and category requirements at the time of registration. Ineligible candidates will be disqualified from the process. 

What After MH CET LLB CAP Rounds 2025?

After the MH CET LLB CAP Rounds 2025, candidates who are allotted a seat must download their provisional allotment letter and report to the allotted college within the specified timeframe to confirm their admission. Shortlisted candidates must pay the required fee and submit original documents. 

If not satisfied with the allotment, candidates can opt for subsequent CAP rounds. Once all CAP rounds are complete, any remaining vacant seats may be filled through an institutional-level round (ACAP). In this, candidates can apply directly to colleges for spot admissions based on merit.
