NLSAT 2025, or the National Law School Admission Test, is the entrance exam conducted by NLSIU Bangalore for admission to its three-year LLB programme. The university will open the grievance window from 1st to 5th June 2025. Candidates can submit their doubts on the official website within this time frame. The following steps can be taken in case of discrepancies in the NLSAT result 2025. 

• Log in with your registered credentials on the official website of NLSIU Bengaluru. 
• Click the “Grievance” or “Raise Query” section. 
• Choose the type of complaint, such as score discrepancy, personal error, etc. 
• Upload necessary documents to support your complaint, if required. 
• Submit the request. 
• The university will review your grievance and will revert within a few working days. 

How to Retrieve NLSAT Login Credentials If Forgotten?

• Click on the “Forgot Password?” link.

Tie-Breaking Rule for NLSAT Result 2025

In case two or more candidates score the same marks in the NLSAT 2025, the tie-breaking policy will be implemented to break the tie. The policy is explained below. 

• Higher marks in Part B (Descriptive section): The candidate with the highest marks in Part B is ranked higher.
• Higher marks in the Legal Aptitude section: If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in the Legal Aptitude section is given preference.
• Older age: If candidates are still tied after the above criteria, the older candidate (by age) is ranked higher.
• Random draw of lots: If the tie still continues, the computer will choose the person through a random draw of lots. 

How is NLSAT 2025 Merit List Prepared?

The final merit list for the NLSAT exam is prepared by following the process mentioned below. 

• Part A Evaluation: All candidates appear for Part A (objective section). Based on Part A scores, candidates are shortlisted in a ratio of 1:5 (five candidates per seat) for evaluation of Part B. 
• Part B Evaluation: Only those who qualify Part A have their Part B (subjective section) answers evaluated. Candidates must obtain above the 75th percentile for General and EWS categories, and above the 40th percentile for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PWD categories. Candidates must score more than zero marks in both Part A and Part B. 
• The final merit list is prepared based on the consolidated scores from Part A and Part B of NLSAT 2025. Admission to the 3-year LLB program will be based on the final merit list.
