To do well in the CLAT 2025 exam, it's important to get better at understanding what you read. In this sample, we'll look at ways to improve this skill using example questions from CLAT 2025.

The bright sun cast its golden rays upon the lush green meadow, illuminating the scene before the old woman and her husband. "Where did you find this little one?" she asked, her wrinkled brow furrowed in skepticism. "Why do we suddenly have a goat kid?" Her husband explained the curious circumstances of their encounter with the kid, but his story seemed vague and unconvincing to her. Could he have possibly stolen it from a goatherd? Such doubts plagued her mind as they continued their evening meal, the weight of uncertainty heavy upon her.

Later that night, as darkness enveloped the countryside, the old woman found herself gazing at the kid under the dim glow of an earthen lamp. Its flickering light danced upon the kid's black fur, revealing a trace of fatigue on its small face. Determination welled within her; she knew she had to care for this creature, no matter its origins.
