XAT 2025 Marking Scheme
XAT marking scheme awards candidates +1 mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Decide the Sequence of Attempting XAT 2025
In the XAT 2025 exam, candidates will get 170 minutes to answer questions from Part 1. Candidates can either attempt part 1 in the official sectional sequence or choose any section which seems convenient to them. While attempting the questions, candidates should focus on solving easier questions first. Once candidates are one with the easier questions, they should focus on answering tricky ones. Is there negative marking in XAT?
XAT Part 1 includes a negative marking of -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer and -0.1 marks per question if candidates leave more than 8 questions unattempted in a row. However, the GK section does not include any negative markings.
Are GK marks counted in XAT?
GK scores are not considered for creating the XAT scorecard. However, it will be included in the selection process.
