• The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category, the eligibility requirement is relaxed to 45%.
• Candidates who graduated in 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023 and did not have exams, marks, or CGPA awarded by their university are also eligible to apply. They need to provide a certificate from their college/institute/university's Principal/Registrar confirming the absence of exams or marks, with only pass or promotion granted in one or more years/semesters.
• For candidates who completed an integrated masters or dual degree immediately after their 12th/HSC, the percentage of marks from the college/institution/university considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree will be used. Stage 1: IIM Calcutta Shortlisting Criteria.

1. In the first stage of shortlisting, candidates can earn 56 points out of a total of 85 points based on their CAT 2023 score.
2. For class 10 and 12 marks, a weightage of 25 points out of 85 points is allocated.
3. No consideration is given to academic performance at the bachelor's degree level.
4. Female and transgender candidates receive an additional 4 points during the shortlisting phase.
5. Candidates must achieve a minimum sectional percentile of 75 in the Quantitative Ability (QA) section and at least 80 percentile in both Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VARC) sections of CAT 2023.
6. A candidate should attain a minimum overall percentile of 85 in CAT 2023.
