Top IIMs in NIRF Ranking 2025: The Ministry of Education recently released the much-acclaimed National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Ranking on September 4, 2025. The top position in the management category was once again taken by IIM Ahmedabad, while IIM Madras continued to be the top institution in the overall category.
The NIRF Rankings 2025 were released for 17 different categories, including universities, colleges, engineering, management, research institutions, pharmacy, medical, and more.

The top IIMs in NIRF Ranking 2025 were revealed with the issuance of the NIRF Ranking 2025 by the Ministry of Education. The rankings are based on the methodology framework outlined by NIRF to rank educational institutions across the country. The rankings are provided from the recommendations of a Core Committee set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to identify the parameters and factors for ranking various universities and institutions. The list of NIRF MBA Ranking 2025 was released by the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan. In the past five years, the top five positions in the management category of the NIRF Rankings 2025 remained consistent, with IIM Ahmedabad topping the charts in all these years.
