Candidates aiming to pursue an MBA at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) must ensure they meet the necessary educational qualifications before starting the application process. Here are the key UPESMET eligibility criteria 2025 set by the university:

• Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in both their Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations.

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

• Those currently completing their final year of undergraduate studies can apply for UPESMET, provided they are able to present their passing certificate during the admission process.

• For an MBA in Strategic Financial Management with EY, candidates must score at least 60% in class 10, 12, and UG final exams.

• There is no age restriction for appearing in UPESMET 2025.

• Applicants who have taken standardised management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT by GMAC, CMAT, or GMAT in the current or previous academic year are not required to appear for UPESMET. These scores can be used directly for the admission process.
