- Do not carry any metallic objects or ornaments.
- Closed shoes with thick or heavy soles are prohibited. Candidates should prefer wearing sandals instead.

Female candidates should opt for simple clothes which don't have multiple layers. The detailed guidelines for the XAT dress code for females are as follows:- Choose simple clothing, preferably kurtis, t-shirts, shirts, jeans, and leggings, which don't have complex prints or patterns.
- Wear cardigans or simple sweaters.
- Avoid complicated hairstyles with braids.
- Avoid metal jewellery, rings, or buttons on clothing.
- Candidates mustn't apply tattoos or henna on their palms for a proper biometric test.
- Wear open-toed footwear like chappals or sandals to avoid lengthy checks.
- Do not wear a veil, cap, or headgear unless required for religious reasons. Candidates wearing veils and headgear must go through proper security checks and reach the exam centre early.
