FMGE 2026 is for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have done their medical studies in another country.
Who can apply: Only Indians or OCIs.
What you need: A medical degree (like MBBS) from a foreign college that is approved by the Indian Embassy and follows Indian medical rules.
Documents: You must show proof of your medical degree. These papers must be signed and checked by the Indian Embassy or office in that country.
Who doesn’t need FMGE: Students who studied in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, or the USA may not need to take this exam, but they must show proper documents to prove their degree and registration.
