NTA Releases FAQs Regarding NEET 2024 Syllabus: The National Medical Commission (NMC) regularly updates the NEET UG syllabus and releases notifications regarding every update on its official website nta.ac.in . Some time ago, the NEET exam conducting body released some FAQs related to the NEET UG 2024 Syllabus to address the queries of the aspirants, all of which are mentioned below.

NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for NEET are the foundation for determining who is qualified to take this important medical entrance exam. To be eligible, candidates must either finish their Class 12 board exams or be in the process, including those awaiting their board exam results. The following points outline the eligibility criteria for NEET 2024. Minimum and Maximum Age Limits: Candidates should have turned 17 by December 31 of the admission year. There is no upper age limit for the NEET exam.
Citizenship Requirements:
Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and foreign nationals are eligible to sit for the exam.
Marks and Educational Requirements:
The NEET 2024 class 12 percentage criteria differ by category: UR: 50%, OBC/SC/ST: 40%, PWD: 40%. Applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates in Class 12 or equivalent may apply for NEET.

Due to the COVID-19 scenario, School Boards deleted portions of each subject's syllabus, and these deletions were not uniform. To address this, the NTA received requests for a syllabus revision.In Unit 2 of the Biology syllabus, it is written – “of an insect (Frog)”. But Frog is not an insect.
In Unit 2, the phrase "of an insect (Frog)" should be read as "of an insect and a frog."There are a few topics included in the updated syllabus but those are not given in the new NCERT Books.
