Only candidates whose application forms are submitted and accepted by the counselling authority are included in the Jammu and Kashmir NEET merit lists based on NEET scores.
NEET is the entrance examination for medical programs in Indian colleges, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Jammu And Kashmir NEET Merit List 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in NEET, the J&K NEET 2024 merit list will be prepared using the following tie-breaking criteria:
Biology Marks:
The candidate with higher marks in biology will be given priority for J&K MBBS admission 2024.
Chemistry Marks:
If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in chemistry will be considered next.
Number of Wrong Attempts:
If the tie is still unresolved, preference will be given to the candidate with fewer wrong attempts.
Age Factor:
If all the above factors do not resolve the tie, the older candidate will be given priority.
What After the Release of the Jammu And Kashmir NEET Merit List 2024?
Candidates with their names on the state merit list are eligible to participate in the J&K MBBS counselling for 2024. Medical aspirants will be provided with a security key, which they must use while selecting courses and colleges for J&K NEET admission.
