Tie Breaking situations are common in preparing the Kerala NEET Merit List. It is due to the increasing number of candidates appearing for the NEET UG exam. The authority decided to set a criterion for the candidates securing the same marks in the NEET paper. Kerala NEET Merit List 2025 is prepared after considering the tie-breaking criteria mentioned below.
Candidates who have secured the highest marks in the Biology paper in NEET UG 2025. They will be given priority in the merit list.
However, if the tie breaking situation exists. In this case, preference to the students who secured the highest marks in Chemistry, followed by the Physics paper in the NEET UG Exam 2025.
The Tie Breaking situation does not resolve. Students with low incorrect responses in the NEET Undergraduate Paper get preference in the Kerala NEET 2025 Merit List.
Students with lower marks secured in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics will be listed in the NEET Merit List 2025 Kerala after applying the above criteria to eliminate the tie-breaking situation.
Online Registration: Candidates must visit the official website of CEE Kerala (cee.kerala.gov.in) and register using their NEET 2025 details. Personal and academic information needs to be filled carefully.
Document Upload & Fee Payment: After registration, students need to upload required documents like NEET scorecard, Class 10 & 12 certificates, and ID proof. Then, pay the counselling fee online (₹500 for General and ₹250 for SC/ST).
Merit List Publication: CEE Kerala will first release a provisional merit list. Students can check their names, NEET rank, and state rank. After resolving any objections, a final merit list will be published.
Choice Filling: Candidates must select their preferred medical/dental colleges and courses during the choice filling period. Selections should be based on rank, seat availability, and interest.
Seat Allotment: Based on merit and preferences, seats will be allotted. The seat allotment result will be declared online. Students must download their allotment letter and report to the allotted college.
Reporting to College: Candidates must report to the college on time with all original documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat. Those unhappy with their allotment can participate in the next round.
