Introduction

International Chemistry Quiz 2025: The Royal Australian Chemical Institute annually organizes the International Chemistry Quiz. Students in the age group 12 to 18 years can participate in the Chemistry Quiz.

The event started in 1982. There are 21 participating countries in the International Chemistry Quiz. Candidates get an opportunity to showcase their Chemistry knowledge by participating in the quiz competition.

The quiz competition covers questions based on curriculum-based content and real-world scenarios. It is to test students' knowledge on attempting the questions.

RACI authorities decided to do ICQ Registration process through the online mode. Interested applicants can visit the official website to proceed with the registration process. ICQ is a quiz not any formal examination for the students. 

• The teachers coming from verified schools can register students to participate in the International Chemistry Quiz. 

• Visit the official website https://www.raci.org.au/ to register students and schools. 

• Registration process opens once in a year online. All the important dates are mentioned in the ICQ Exam Dates 2025. Follow the important dates and complete the registration process.

International Chemistry Quiz Exam Pattern 2025

International Chemistry Quiz is syllabus free competition organized for the students. There is special curriculum followed to ask questions in the competition.

The quiz is designed to help students knowing much more related to Chemistry. Get the insights of Chemistry related topics through the quiz preparation. International Chemistry Quiz Exam Pattern 2024 covers a set of multiple choice questions asked from Chemistry. 

• Questions Format: Multiple Choice Questions

• Total Questions: 30 Questions

• Negative Marking: NA

• Time: 60 Minutes

• Scientific calculators are permitted for the students to perform any complex calculations. However, students are not allowed to carry any smart devices.

RACI appreciates the talent of students participating in the International Chemistry Quiz. Awards and Recogniton are provided to the top performing students in ICQ.

The results of the individual students are provided to the participating schools. There is a criterion to be followed related to the International Chemistry Quiz Awards & Recognition. 

• Lapel Pen: Scoring 30/30 in International Chemistry Quiz

• Participation: Students who could not secure any rank get a participation certificate. 

• Excellent: It is awarded to a student who scored 100% marks. 

• High Distinction: Top 10% of students participated in the region. 

• Distinction: Students who are in their top 20% of participants in the region. 

• Credit: It is awarded to students who is next 20% of students participated of their region.
