Vanda is a global International Science Competition conducted every year by Olympiad India. It emphasizes the ability of students to think creatively and critically in order to identify hidden information that assists them in answering the questions.
Vanda is aimed at students from primary 3 to secondary 4 (Grade 3 to Grade 11). It adheres to the Singapore School Science Syllabus with an emphasis on higher order thinking skills.
This enables participants to perform better in comparison to pure-Olympiad papers as they are well-acquainted with most of the topics.

Students in primary 3 and secondary 4 (Grade 3 to Grade 11) are eligible to take part in the VANDA Science International Competition. This guarantees a variety of participants while upholding an equitable and competitive atmosphere.
The competition consists of multiple-choice questions that test aspects of scientific knowledge and reasoning.
Section A:
Question 1 to 10: +2 / 0 / −1 point for correct/no/wrong answer respectively
Section B:
Question 11 to 20: +3 / 0 / 0 point for correct/no /wrong answer respectively
Application Question Section:
Question 21 to 23: +3 points for correct answer, 0 points for wrong and no answer.
Question 24 to 25: +4 points for correct answer, 0 points for wrong and no answer.
All students will start with 10 bonus points. The perfect score is 77 points.
