The Station Master selection process generally involves the following stages:- Computer-Based Test (CBT) : The CBT is divided into two stages - CBT 1 and CBT 2. These tests assess the candidate's General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning.
- CBAT: Candidates must secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This requirement applies to all candidates, regardless of community or category, including SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex SM. No relaxation in the minimum T-Score is given to the candidates.
- Document Verification : Candidates who qualify in the CBAT are called for document verification. They must present original certificates of educational qualifications, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant documents.
- Medical Examination : Candidates must undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the required health standards.
