Assam HSLC Exam Pattern 2023-24, Check Subject Wise Exam Pattern

For the academic session 2023-24, students preparing for the HSLC exam will encounter a new approach in answering objective type questions. The core subjects, namely English (C1), General Mathematics (C2), General Science (C3), and Social Science (C4), will include objective type questions accounting for 50% of the total marks. OMR sheets, personalized with each student's name, will be provided specifically for these questions. Additionally, the remaining 50% of questions will continue to be addressed on separate answer sheets spanning 16 pages, similar to previous formats. Moreover, the state board has delineated eligibility criteria for students intending to appear for the HSLC exam: Students who have undertaken Unit Test 1 (except those who did not pass the HSLC examination in 2023) and consistently attend classes, along with intending to appear in subsequent examinations like Unit Test II, Half-Yearly examination, and pre-board examination. Students unsuccessful in the HSLC exam in 2023, but who have re-enrolled in Class 10, should attend classes regularly and participate in subsequent examinations, even if they couldn't take Unit Test 1.
