RBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus 2025-26: The official syllabus has been released by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education on its official website (rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in)  to help students prepare for their board exams. 

The science syllabus will give students a clear understanding of fundamental concepts across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, which are crucial for board exams preparation.

They must prepare well for the board exams, since the competition seems to be too high as the highest score for the RBSE Class 10th 2025 was 99.3%, leading the passing percentage to 93.60%.

Before beginning to prepare for the RBSE Class 10th Board exams, students should have a brief idea about the exam pattern, the marking scheme, and the weightage of marks the written exam carries.

Changes Made in RBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus 2025-26

RBSE Class 10 Science syllabus 2025–26 has undergone minor changes compared to the previous year. Most of the content and structure remains unchanged. However, the “Evolution” portion from Chapter 8 – Heredity and Evolution has been removed from the syllabus for this session. Students are now required to study only the Heredity portion of the chapter.

Additionally, there has been a formatting change in how the syllabus is presented:

• 2024–25: The syllabus was structured unit-wise.

• 2025–26: The syllabus is now provided chapter-wise, making it easier for students to follow and refer.

RBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus 2025 Marking Scheme defines that the written exam carries 80 marks, while the remaining 20 marks is dedicated to the practical/internal assessment. This balanced approach promotes theoretical as well as practical learning.

For the written examination, students must go through the previous years’ papers to understand the exam pattern and the important topics to be covered. 

Students must focus on units which carry high weightage of marks, including Chapter 5 (Life Processes) and Chapter 9 (Reflections and Refraction of Light) which carry 8 marks respectively. Here’s the marking scheme for preparation:

Further, priority to attendance (5 marks), project (3 marks), oral test (1 mark), notebook (1 mark), and internal assessment (10 marks) is also given.
