The selection process has changed, with the removal of socio-economic marks as per the Hon'ble High Court judgment dated 31.05.2024. The selection process for HSSC LDC is now based primarily on merit, evaluated through a written examination and/or skill test. The recruitment follows a transparent method to ensure a fair selection of candidates. Below are the key criteria:

CET Merit-Based Shortlisting

Candidates are shortlisted for the written exam based on their Common Eligibility Test (CET) scores. If multiple candidates have the same CET score at the cutoff, all of them will be allowed to appear in the exam.The number of shortlisted candidates depends on the available vacancies:

HSSC LDC Written Examination

Minimum Qualifying Marks in HSSC LDC Selection Process

  • Reserved Categories: 10% relaxation, requiring 40% (39 out of 97.5 marks).

HSSC LDC Merit List & Final Selection

The final selection is based on the written exam (97.5% weightage). A merit list will be published on the HSSC website. If no eligible candidates are available in a category, the vacancies will be re-advertised.
