In Indian marriages, benarasi sarees are very essential. The intricate embroidery on the fabric gives it a regal look.   • Chikankari Embroidery 

The Chikankari needlework of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is the most famous of all the handicrafts. Using intricate needles, this needlework is extremely delicately done on fabric. There are various styles of this art, including bakhia, keel kangan, lerchi, and mure. Mughal architectural motifs are used in the exquisite craft of Chikankari.   • Terracotta 

The villages in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur area are known for their elaborately adorned terracotta horses, which are made from clay. Separate mud pieces are placed on the wheel and carved to make the basic shape. Artists from other Uttar Pradeshi cities also create terracotta horses.

  • Zari Embroidery
