Describe Something That You Taught to Your Friend Sample 1

This is the first sample for the "Describe Something You Taught To Your Friend" cue card topic. This example can be used as an example for your actual exam answers. Introduction Teaching is an effective method for imparting knowledge and skills to students. I recently had the opportunity to teach my friend something new. I want to talk about that experience today. What did you teach them? I showed my friend how to create a tie-and-dye design on fabric. We selected white fabric and every tool we needed to create a tie-and-dye design on it. The fabric was folded, twisted, and tied in several ways before being dyed with various colours to create different patterns. When was it? We studied home science completely when we were in the same college a few years ago. She was absent from class on the day the teacher showed us how to tie and dye, for some reason. How long was it for? It's a quick, easy, and interesting process. Including the time needed to tie the fabric, add the colors, and create the final result, we finished the whole process in approximately an hour. Explain how you felt about it I was so happy to impart new knowledge to my friend. It was a great opportunity to bond and engage in a shared activity. It was rewarding to see my friend's excitement as she learned the basics of tie-dye. Conclusion We loved the tie-and-dye method, whether it involved dipping the cloth into different colors to create designs or tying the entire cloth in to create a different pattern.

I taught him all the features and basics of photography, including lighting, composition, camera settings, and other modes. When was it? I can still clearly recall how excited and passionate he was about it, even though it was several months ago. I provided him feedback to help in his understanding and introduced him to practical activities like photographing nature. How long was it for? Without hurrying, the given time was for three weekend afternoons. To help with the learning process, I described my camera's basic features. Explain how you felt about it I was happy to share my abilities with a loved one after teaching my friend. I felt satisfied because it was about more than just giving knowledge. Conclusion One of the best decisions I have ever made was to teach my friend to take pictures. It not only helped my friends, but it also improved our relationship and gave me a sense of satisfaction from developing a shared interest.

IELTS Speaking cue card Follow-up questions

Students will have 4-5 minutes to do a few follow-up questions in IELTS Speaking Part 3 . Some follow-up questions to describe something that you taught to your friend are provided below. This will help you in achieving high exam scores. Question - What can young people teach the elderly? Answer - I believe they can teach them whatever they can use. For example, how to use LED TVs and mobile phones. Question - Why is learning new things difficult for older adults? Answer - The difficulty of older people to learn new things is also a result of technology. For example, when someone is learning how to use software. He remembers it and keeps up with the updates if he uses it every day. He forgets it if he doesn't get a chance to use it, and after a few days, he can't access the new features that we added to the program. Question - Do you believe that demonstrating instead of telling is more efficient for education? Answer - Yes, while learning anything visually, people can observe. Every time they think about it, it helps them remember it. Question - Do you believe that regular training is necessary for people to learn something? Answer - Students must practice constantly in order to perfect it if they want to learn it completely, or it will be forgotten. Question - Do you like learning from teachers or friends? Answer - I would rather learn from my friends, as I can ask them anything I'm unsure of. We might learn a lot of things from a teacher that even our friends are unaware of. Question - Who is the student's best teacher? Answer - Parents are a child's first and best teachers. They help you learn how to walk on your own, support you when you fall, and understand you when others don't.
