Describe Your Favorite Singer IELTS Cue Card Sample 1

In this section, you will find a sample answer on the ielts cue card “Describe your favourite Singer” given below: Introduction My favourite Indian playback singer is Shreya Ghoshal. I've been impressed by her poetic voice and many singing styles since I was a child. Her songs are an integral part of my life and have helped me get through some difficult times. Who is the singer? Shreya Ghoshal is the singer I'll be discussing. When she was recognized for her songs and voice, I began to like her voice beyond all others among female singers. Shreya Ghoshal is my favorite singer of all time. How did you know this singer? Years ago, I watched the Tamil film 7 G Rainbow Colony, which included all of the songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, my favourite music director. I used to listen to every single song from the movie. Later, I came across the female version of one of Shreya Goshal's songs, which is how I knew about her. What kind of person is this? I admire her vocal talent. She is one of the music industry's finest singers. Why do you believe he or she is good? She charms others with her voice, whether she sings in Hindi or Tamil. Even though her mother tongue is not Tamil, her pronunciation excels for many of the performers.

Describe your Favourite Singer Sample Answer 1

The "Describe your favorite singer" IELTS cue card sample is shown below. Who he or she is. I've recently discovered Ariana Grande's songs, so I'll talk about her. Where and when did you first hear him/her sing? Ariana has been around for some time, having made her debut in 2013 and achieved significant popularity with her first album. I have been listening to her music since high school, when my best friend recommended it on a vacation. However, given the fact that her songs have always been interesting and her voice is beautiful and sensitive, she was not a major star till now. Her latest album is what pushed her to stardom, with the lead hit "Thank You, Next" dominating music charts all over the world. What types of songs does she/he sing, and why do you enjoy his/her music? I believe the song's popularity comes from the fact that she included her memories in it, making it a kiss-off anthem full of post-breakup memories and positive thoughts. I'd like to meet her just to see her in real as well as talk about how she writes her music. I realize it's a long shot, but she did consider touring my country once. Hopefully, she will come here someday.

IELTS Cue Card Part 3 Follow-Up Questions

In Part 3 of the IELTS Speaking Test, the instructor will ask further questions about the applicant's favourite singer. Following your answer to the IELTS cue card about Describe your favourite Singer, the following follow-up questions may be asked: Question - How has technology changed the way we listen to music? Answer - Technology has transformed how we listen to music. Streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music have made millions of music immediately available. Digital formats have taken over physical records, and algorithms now create personalized playlists. This has resulted in wider listening habits, but it may have lowered the value of album-specific experiences. Question - Do you think traditional musical instruments will become obsolete in the future? Answer - Although digital instruments and production technologies are becoming more popular, conventional instruments are unlikely to become extinct. They provide unique sound characteristics and a physical connection that many musicians and listeners value. However, we might see more hybrid devices that blend traditional and digital components. Question - How important is music education in schools? Answer - Music education is essential in schools because it improves mental skills, encourages creativity, and supports emotional development. It also allows for self-expression and can help people enhance their social skills through group performances. Furthermore, it protects cultural history and can lead to lifetime appreciation or even job opportunities in music. Question - What impact do music festivals have on local communities? Answer - Music festivals can have an important effect on the surrounding communities. They frequently contribute to the local economy by creating jobs and promoting tourism. They can also place pressure on local infrastructure and generate noise pollution. However, they can also promote a sense of community, highlight local talent, and give cultural experiences that would normally be unavailable. Question - How has social media influenced the music industry? Answer - Social networking has changed the music industry by allowing for direct artist-fan engagement, viral marketing, and expanding music distribution. It has enabled independent musicians to create fan bases in the absence of traditional label support. However, technology has also reduced attention spans and put greater stress on artists to maintain an online presence.
