AP TET 2026 Exam Schedule compiles the details regarding the exam date, shifts, and timing. The exam will commence from August 5 to August 21, 2026. AP TET will be organised in two shifts, including the morning and afternoon shifts of 2.5 hours. The morning shift will begin from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, and the afternoon shift will start from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will be notified regarding the exam date, shifts, and timing-related information in the AP TET admit card 2026.

AP TET Exam Pattern 2026 uses multiple-choice questions where only one answer option is right. There is no negative marking for picking a wrong answer. The marks division depends on the specific papers:

  • Paper 1A: For candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 in regular schools. It has 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.

  • Paper 1B: For candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 in special schools. It has 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.

  • Paper 2A: For candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8 in regular schools. It has 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.

  • Paper 2B: For candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8 in special schools. It has 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.

Candidates who qualify for these papers get a passing certificate that stays valid for a lifetime.
